Tom--you jerk!!
Very Exciting!
Incredulous BooK!

Once again, Reeves et al hit the mark!
excellent coverage of Valley of the Kings
The greatest book!

A heatfelt book
Come to Grace Valley for a visitDeep in the Valley is written much in the same way as Debbie Macomber novels. There is a whole town of people with real life issues to learn about and keep track of. While there is the main character of June, there is also many secondary characters who get their fair share of space in the book. At times though it seems as if there are too many characters, since it's hard to keep everyone straight. Eventually though the reader prevails and the characters become like family, friends, and neighbors. There are characters to like and dislike.
This book was easy to read, though at times seemed choppy. Again, to compare with a D. Macomber novel which goes easily from scene to scene and character to character, Deep in the Valley seems to at times jerk from one character to the next and also from one storyline to the next. The book seems to lack a smooth trangression at times, making it less enjoyable to read.
Overall, Deep in the Valley is a good book. It's a nice way to spend a few hours meeting new people and learning about their lives. Not a romance, yet still a good read.
Well worth the purchase!

suspense
Very exciting, suspenseful, mysterious book
Mysteriously Frightening!

Sudbury Rocks!Any serious educator who has the common sense of a slug (and that's about one percent, by the way) will tell you that the educational system as we know it is merely an indoctrination into the values of the ruling class. Much of the work that is forced on teachers is mind-numbing bookkeeping and measuring designed to further the careers of educators (and satisfy administrators) more than anyone else. What is refreshing about Sudbury is that they do away with all that and get down to the business of educating students.
Meaningful learning comes from the individual, and that's what the Sudbury model is all about. I can't recommend this book highly enough.
Revolutionize the way you look at schools and education
A great statement of self-education and mutual respect."There can be no freedom without learning and learning without freedom is always in vain"-JFK

My Personal Favorite of the SVU Thriller Editions
Very Bad Things
An Exciting and thrilling story!

Take Me On
Book 11 in the SVH Senior Year SeriesAs for the Wakefield twins and their family, they're moving out of the Fowler's mansion. (Yay! I thought it was a little too weird having the Fowlers and Wakefields living together.) Their house was finally rebuilt after the destructive earthquake that demolished several homes and buildings in the finalized Sweet Valley High series. Jessica is still confused over her feelings for Will Simmons--and occasionally for Jeremy Aames, who seems to have dropped out of the picture entirely. And Liz is still mooning over Conner like a lovesick cow. No change there. (Yawn.)
Meanwhile, Angel Desmond is looking for a way to financially make it at Stanford University. He's applying for a Resident Assistant position there, which is the only way he can attend the college. Besides that bit of pressure, there's the possibility he may have to leave earlier if he is accepted, which puts a strain on his relationship with Tia, who doesn't really want him to go. She's afraid he'll leave her for a college woman, so she considers losing her virginity to him (which, in my opinion, is one of the worst possible reasons to have sex). I was actually very surprised to find out Angel and Tia weren't sexually active; after all, they've been together for months (or is it years? I don't remember.) Anyway, most guys wouldn't last a month or two, let alone a year or more. I guess I had just assumed they were already doing not, but I guess not.
"Take Me On" is one of the many compulsively-readable books in this series. Conner, apparently, has more family skeletons in his closet by the phone call he overhears of Gary's and the legal documents he finds in his mother's bedroom; Jess is falling in love all over again--but with the wrong guy (imo); and Angel is on his way to becoming a Stanford freshman. I can't wait to start the next book in this series: "Bad Girl".
Another great Senior YearConner's mum goes to rehab after drink driving and Conner's stepdad (Megan's dad) Gary comes to look after them. Conner is not thrilled but Megan is. It becomes like a contest for Megan's attention between Gary and Conner. When Megan tells Conner Gary's thinking of moving back to Sweet Valley Conner is suspicious and when he eavesdrops on a conversation he realises Gary has been lying to Megan.
Things are getting hot between Jessica and Will. Jessica is trying to deny her feelings for Will but it's not helping that her mum is charmed by him and Elizabeth is saying she should get together with him.
Tia's wondering if she should take the next step with Angel before he goes to Stanford. When she says that she's ready and Angel says hes not, she gets in a huff with him. Will they sort it out before he goes?
As you can see nothing major happening here, just a fun read. If you like this books you should check out the rest in the series.
Happy Reading :)

looking deeper through reviewTo be honest, at first, I thought the book is again a love story that we usually watch in the film or somewhere else. On the contrary found it is quite different from other friction stories. The specialty is that the story likes dairy journal, which were written by the characters and in first person. The story sent me a positive impression. It is just the sorts of book I am looking for.
Francine Pascal's writes this book. It focuses on two couples: Domon, Jessica and Lacey, Richard. Let say about the first couple: they are attracted by each other and fall in love. However, Jessica did not felt sweet as she felt Domon kept secret behind her .She was jealous when Demon always stay with Mrs.Serson.In fact, things not like that. Well, Demon is a gay who is not good at expression, along with other reasons causes them nearly to break out. Off course they were getting well consequence .Do want to kown more reason, just read the book.
Well, I like the book, especially Demon, I see he made a lot of efforts to change himself and try to share the ideas and thinking with others. Furthermore, he is really a good gay who I found extinct in this real world. He takes care about his sibling and finish homework in the rest time. All in all, the book is worth to read.
She loves me not? He loves me not?
Damon2Jessica! <3
Elizabeth. He's known his father for what? Two weeks!
And already he's believing his pond scum dad over his girlfriend.
Why would Elizabeth lie anyway?? It makes no sense!
However, as mad as I am at Tom, this WAS a good book. I'll
definitely be reading more.
As for Jessica, I think she was stupid to try to follow up
on something Nick obviously didn't want her to know. I hate
to say it, but Jessica needs a good kick in the butt every now
and then!
